Ahah. A few months ago I posted the following text on my Tumblr (I believe I've shared this with you before.. Uhh.) -
  

"Some days all I want is to re-blog everything on my (tumblr) feed. But then I look around and see how little original content there is on here and I think again (not to say I’ve never done it, but it is rare).

     It’s easy to acquire good taste, all it takes is culture (I’m not downing this, I love it too much. But there is quite an uneven population between being inspired and inspiring.. They should go hand in hand), to create beauty is the real feat."

After watching this video, I realized what it was that carries me through each project with equal dedication even though.. Lets be honest... It will probably not turn out like I want it to in my head. TASTE. It's what begins something and then (eventually.. After beginning again and again) brings about a piece of art you are proud of. 

I'm still in the middle of this process, if you must know. 

So go do A LOT of work. 

FRESH FACE

      A fresh face to add to my wall. Late last night I decided to do a little painting (for the first time in forever), it was a big deal. I had so much fun, I might go for round two.. Gotta fill up those walls somehow.  This months mood-board is due for a makeover.  

      What makes your art come alive? What makes you feel like in your time your words are spun of gold and eyes are made of fire? What is it that (if you can even put your finger on it) makes your creativity so vivid before you? And most of all what is that keeps it from running to the woods at the slightest glance?

If it there was anything I could ask you right now, this is what it would be.

LOVES JOURNEY

  
  This OPI happy/not so happy nail polish is my new favorite. I was looking for the perfect dark purple and was able to score this on sale (which, as we all know- validates everything). Though I'm not a huge nail polish person, I can't seem to get past the dark nail colors, or classic white.

      Here's a little flash back and reminder from this spring, I wrote this for my  first personal blog (The Wood Tumblr) post and have though of it frequently lately. Reading this compels me to think, always leaving me with a desire to write more. Enjoy:
