Birthday Treat: the Cake Pop

//It was my little sisters 6th birthday at  the end of last month- And she requested nothing less than her favorite treat: cake pops. The house full of balloons and children who eventually found games and sidewalk chalk outside. The cake pops where a hit! (Not only with the  kids)...

Directions-
Make your favorite mix or scratch recipe for what every kind of cake or brownie you would like- (The ones above are a gluten free brownie mix from Trader Joes)  Melt your baking chocolate- dip sticks in and set them off to the side to dry. When the cake or brownie you have chosen is done and cooled, crumble it in a bowl and and shape into balls with your hands. (If this isn't working well you can add frosting to the mixture to help). Then place the stick about half way into the middle and press the bottom so the cake doesn't fall off.  You are now ready to dip it into the chocolate- I used a spoon to help steady it as well. Then applie your sprinkles in  generous amounts and let sit- i placed them in the freezer for a minute or two. Then enjoy!
